Sketchbook Progress — 2010, 2011, 2012
I have a long way to go to get my calligraphy to a level I’d be happy with, but I’m really pleased with the progress I’ve made in just over two years. Letterforms stimulate, engage and challenge me like nothing else. The eminent calligrapher Rudolf Koch articulated best how I feel about letterforms myself. He said “The making of letters in every form is for me the greatest pleasure. It was and it is for me the most happy and perfect expression of my life.”
