The full family of Bar Sans Pro is nearing completion! In order to promote and showcase its full capabilities, I’m going to do a new type composition using only glyphs from the families of Bar Sans Pro of bars in Detroit weekly until the entire family is released.
This week’s composition is for Northern Light’s Lounge in New Center.
The free weight of Bar Sans will always be free (with encouraged donations) and available here.
The new weights found in Bar Sans Pro are:
- Highball - tall condensed vertical caps
- Mixed - small and regular caps of normal height
- Lowball - extended wide caps of normal height
These weights will be classified as either:
- Sober - regular
- Buzzed - italic
And will include a weight of Dingbats:
- Hammered - common bar symbols and patterns
Giving you a total of 6 normal weights and an extra one consisting of symbols.
